I am a writer, lecturer and birder in Toronto. My first book, Field Notes from an Unintentional Birder, a Canadian bestseller, is published by Douglas & McIntyre. When I’m not writing (or visiting sewage lagoons in search of elusive waterfowl), I give lectures to lifelong learners in and around Toronto.
